We keep a few of these on our housekeeping cart, and they are effective for light overhead dusting and detail work around framed items and furniture. The lambswool holds onto dust better than some synthetic dusters we have tried, and it has not marked painted surfaces. For the price, it is a practical buy. I would just prefer a slightly firmer lock on the extension section.

The 35 to 48 inch handle gives enough reach for vents, trim, and upper shelves without dragging out a step stool for every task. The lambswool picks up dust well and is gentle on finished surfaces. It is lightweight, which I appreciate, though the plastic handle does feel a bit basic.
