We used it on a northern trip where added length made hole drilling much easier at the end of the day. The construction appears solid and the connection stayed tight. Since it is specific to Trophy Strike augers and power heads, just make sure your equipment matches before ordering.

I bought this extension for use with a Trophy Strike lithium-ion head and matching auger, and compatibility was exactly as advertised. The male and female ends fit cleanly, and the cross-hole alignment made installation straightforward. Once assembled, it felt secure in operation. The only reason I stopped at four stars is that I would have appreciated a retaining pin included in the package.

This 16.5 inch Trophy Strike auger extension has been useful later in the season when standard length starts to come up short. It connected properly to our compatible Trophy Strike setup and gave us the extra reach we needed without feeling sloppy at the joint. It is a simple product, but that is exactly why I liked it. If you already run their augers and power heads, it makes sense to keep one around.
